Role Overview

Work Inspector - Structure at WSP Middle East, based in Qatar. You will inspect structural construction works on-site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards while supporting Ashghal infrastructure projects.

WSP GEC is seeking a Work Inspector (Structural) to join the team in Qatar.

Role Purpose

You will play a vital role in supporting Ashghal infrastructure projects by inspecting structural construction works on-site and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. You will work closely with the project team to maintain the highest standards of construction quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Inspections & Compliance

• Conduct thorough inspections of structural construction works, including foundations, columns, beams, and other structural elements.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and Ashghal requirements.
• Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities during the construction process.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of inspection activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices in structural construction.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Provide timely feedback and recommendations to the project team to address any issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve construction-related queries.

Health & Safety

• Ensure health and safety standards are met during construction activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in structural inspection or construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and construction practices.
• Excellent understanding of Ashghal requirements and quality standards.

Additional Information
