Terms of Service

The rules that apply when you use Uplift GCC — as a job seeker, as an employer, or just browsing.

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Uplift GCC ("Uplift GCC", "we", "us", "our"), the operator of upliftgcc.com, based in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.

By using our website — browsing vacancies, creating an account, uploading a CV, using our career tools, or posting a job — you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the platform.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of this agreement.

2. Who can use Uplift GCC

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, upload a CV, or apply for a role through our platform. By using these features you confirm that you are.

You must also have the legal right to work, or to seek work, in the country where you are applying. We do not verify visa or work-permit status, and we do not provide immigration advice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away at careers@upliftgcc.com if you think someone else has accessed it.

The information you give us must be accurate and about you. Do not create an account in someone else's name, upload someone else's CV as your own, or misrepresent your experience, qualifications or identity.

Some profile fields have change limits to keep records consistent — for example, your full name can be changed a limited number of times per month. If you need a change beyond that limit, contact us.

4. Your CV and the content you upload

Your CV remains yours. You keep all rights to the documents and information you upload.

By uploading, you give us permission to store your content, process it to run the features you have asked for, match it against vacancies, and share it with employers when you apply for their roles. This permission exists only so we can operate the service, and it ends when you delete your content or your account.

You confirm that the content you upload is yours to share and does not infringe anyone else's rights or contain anything unlawful.

5. About our job listings

Many of the vacancies on Uplift GCC are gathered automatically from employers' own career pages and applicant tracking systems. Others are posted directly by employers using our platform.

This means some important things to understand:

• We are not the employer. Uplift GCC is not the hiring party for aggregated listings and is not a party to any employment relationship that results.
• We do not guarantee accuracy. Listings reflect what the source published. Details such as salary, location or requirements may be incomplete or out of date.
• Roles may already be filled. A vacancy may close before our records are updated.
• We do not endorse employers. Appearing on our platform is not a recommendation, and we do not vet every advertiser.

If you see a listing that looks fraudulent, misleading or expired, please report it to us so we can review and remove it.

6. Applying for a role

Depending on the listing, applying will either submit your details through Uplift GCC or take you to the employer's own application system.

Where you are taken to an external site, your application is completed there, under that site's terms and privacy policy. Recording an application with us does not mean the employer has received it — you must complete the employer's own process.

We cannot guarantee that an employer will read your application, respond to it, or invite you to interview. Hiring decisions are made entirely by the employer.

7. Our AI career tools

Our CV analysis, ATS scoring, CV Writer, CV tailoring, LinkedIn optimisation and interview preparation features use artificial intelligence to generate suggestions.

These tools are here to help you, not to decide anything for you:

• Scores and feedback are indicative, not a prediction of whether you will be hired
• Generated text may contain errors — always review it before using it
• An ATS score from us is our own assessment and is not produced by any employer's actual system
• You remain responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit to an employer, including text our tools helped you write

8. Terms for employers

If you post a vacancy on Uplift GCC, you confirm that:

• You are authorised to advertise the role on behalf of the hiring organisation
• The role is genuine, currently open, and lawful in the country where it is based
• The listing is accurate and not misleading about pay, duties, location or terms
• You will not ask candidates for payment of any kind
• You will handle candidate data lawfully, use it only to assess the application, and not sell or pass it on
• Your listing does not discriminate unlawfully

We review submitted listings and may edit, decline or remove any listing at our discretion. Listings must be for specific roles, not general advertising.

9. Paid features

Most of Uplift GCC is free to use. Where we offer a paid feature, the price and what it includes will be shown clearly before you pay.

Paid features give you access to tools — never to a guaranteed interview, placement or job offer. Because our tools deliver their result immediately, payments are generally non-refundable once the feature has been used. If something did not work as described, contact us and we will put it right.

10. What you may not do

When using Uplift GCC, you must not:

• Post false, fraudulent or misleading information, or impersonate anyone
• Scrape, copy, harvest or bulk-download our listings or user data
• Use automated tools to create accounts or submit applications
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Upload malware, or anything designed to disrupt the platform
• Contact other users for anything other than a genuine recruitment purpose
• Advertise unlawful roles, or ask candidates for money
• Use the platform in a way that breaks the law in your country or in Bahrain

11. Our content and brand

The Uplift GCC name, logo, website design, articles, CV templates and software are ours and are protected by intellectual property law. You may use them for your own personal job search, but not copy, resell or redistribute them.

CVs and documents you generate using our tools are yours to use freely, including commercially in your own job search.

12. What we do not promise

Uplift GCC is provided on an "as is" basis. We work to keep the platform accurate and available, but we do not promise that:

• The site will be available without interruption or free of errors
• Every listing is current, complete or genuine
• Using the platform will result in interviews, offers or employment
• Our AI suggestions will improve your outcome in any particular case

13. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uplift GCC is not liable for:

• Loss of employment, income or opportunity arising from use of the platform
• The conduct of any employer, recruiter or other user
• Inaccuracies in listings sourced from third parties
• Any loss you suffer by relying on AI-generated suggestions
• Interruptions, data loss or technical faults outside our reasonable control

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Where we do have liability for a paid feature, it is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

14. Suspending or closing accounts

You may close your account at any time from the "Delete account" section on your account page, or by emailing careers@upliftgcc.com. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used fraudulently, or puts other users at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bahrain.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. If we make a significant change, we will notify registered users by email. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
