Role Overview

Wireline Field Specialist at Baker Hughes. This role is part of the Field Service team supporting well construction and production operations on inland or offshore rigs.

Role Purpose

Provide technical guidance and insight to support the delivery of multiple customer projects in wireline completions operations. Play an essential role in identifying improvements to products, processes, and procedures while ensuring all business activities comply with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal requirements, and core values.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Wellsite Support

• Provide a record of all assemblies as run to the Customer Representative at the wellsite.
• Advise Customer Representative in logging and completions operations.
• Interpret logging data, troubleshoot, and support wellsite analysis and decision-making processes.
• Assist in providing completions logging and completions services at the workshop and wellsite.
• Identify the proper product and service for simple to complex applications.

Governance & Compliance

• Maintain records and communications as required by the district manager.
• Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Stakeholder Management

• Work and communicate well with internal and external customers.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Science required.
• 4 or more years of experience with in-depth knowledge of Wireline Completions products and services.
• Seismic background is optional.
• Previous experience working with Baker Hughes is preferred.
