Role Overview

Welding Technician / Multi-skilled Welder at Burjline Builders. The role involves welding, fabrication, modification, and repair activities within a catering and facility-maintenance environment.

Role Purpose

Perform specialized welding and fabrication work across stainless-steel and carbon-steel materials, repair facility equipment and infrastructure, and maintain quality standards for all welding operations.

Key Responsibilities

Welding Operations

• Perform TIG/Argon welding.
• Perform MIG welding.
• Perform Arc welding.
• Weld and fabricate stainless-steel materials.
• Weld and fabricate carbon-steel materials.

Fabrication & Repair

• Repair kitchen equipment.
• Repair laundry equipment.
• Repair piping.
• Repair tanks.
• Repair supports.
• Repair frames.
• Repair facility assets.
• Perform cutting work.
• Perform grinding work.
• Perform drilling work.
• Perform fitting work.
• Perform fabrication work.

Quality & Safety

• Inspect completed welds for quality and proper finishing.
• Follow hot-work permit procedures.
• Follow safety procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical qualification or trade certificate in Welding or Fabrication.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong TIG/Argon welding experience, particularly with stainless steel.
• Competent in MIG welding.
• Competent in Arc welding.

Skills & Competencies

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
