Role Overview

Welder at Agility. The Welder will be responsible for performing welding and joining activities as required for various construction projects.

Role Purpose

To deliver high-quality welding and joining work across construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Welding Operations

• Perform various types of welding, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Prepare materials and set up welding equipment.
• Ensure proper weld quality and meet specified standards.

Quality & Inspection

• Inspect work pieces and welds for defects and make necessary adjustments.

Equipment & Maintenance

• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Collaborate with the team to complete projects on time and within specifications.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Welder or similar role.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in reading blueprints and welding symbols.
• Strong knowledge of different welding techniques and equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
