Role Overview
IRE is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support the operations department in processing incoming stock, picking orders from warehouse inventory, and maintaining accurate stock levels. The position is based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Role Purpose
The Warehouse Assistant ensures the highest levels of service in warehouse operations by receiving and processing incoming materials, managing inventory accuracy, maintaining proper material handling standards, and supporting the operations team with picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving and Stock Management
- Monitor loading and offloading of shipments and goods with drivers and helpers.
- Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
- Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stocktake, and audit to verify results.
Material Handling and Dispatch
- Receive, store, transfer, and ship materials and products.
- Ensure proper packing and wrapping of material before dispatch to the customer.
- Assist the operations team with ad hoc requests for product picking, packaging, and dispatching.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment preventively.
Health, Safety, and Maintenance
- Ensure basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Report store-related issues, such as damage to racks, faulty equipment, or safety hazards, to the superior immediately.
- Clean and maintain cleanliness of work areas to ensure industry sanitation and safety codes are followed.
- Responsible and accountable for proper material handling.
Compliance and General Duties
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management or supervisors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Currently based in the United Arab Emirates.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2β3 years' experience in a warehouse role within the UAE.
- Minimum 1β2 years' forklift driving experience.
- Experience in preparing, palletizing, and packing materials.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent in speaking and writing in English.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work with computerized inventory systems and data entry skills to update the inventory control system.
- Knowledge of Hindi (preferred).
