Waiter - CP

Role Overview

Waiter (CP) position with IHG Hotels and Resorts. The role welcomes guests, recommends food and drink, and maintains service standards to create memorable dining experiences.

Role Purpose

To deliver exceptional service by welcoming guests, tailoring their dining experience to individual preferences, recommending food and beverage selections, and ensuring service remains on track and meets established standards.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery

• Welcome guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Recommend food and drink selections based on guest preferences and queries.
• Tailor each guest's experience to their unique tastes.
• Give guests a better experience by helping with any queries or advice.
• Keep service on-track and up to standard.

Kitchen Operations

• Make each meal visually appealing and flavorful with your own signature approach.
• Own your kitchen responsibilities by keeping on top of supplies and equipment.
• Minimize waste throughout kitchen operations.
• Help with washing up and other kitchen duties when needed.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and wear necessary protective equipment.
• Help create a safe space for guests and team members.
• Tell your supervisor or duty manager about any unsafe equipment, low supplies, or safety incidents.
• Meet or exceed local cleanliness and hygiene laws.
• Be cleaner than clean and maintain high standards of personal and workplace hygiene.

General Duties

• Wear your uniform with pride.
• Take on other ad-hoc duties when the whole team needs to pull together.
