Role Overview

VP, Senior Infrastructure Portfolio Management at Mashreq Bank, reporting to the Cloud Center of Excellence at Injaz Tech MIT.

Role Purpose

Drive strategic planning, governance, and delivery of Mashreq Bank's infrastructure investment portfolio, managing an annual enterprise CAPEX budget of AED 150–200M and an OPEX budget of approximately AED 300M to ensure prioritized delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Governance

• Establish strategic direction for the infrastructure investment portfolio aligned with organizational objectives.
• Ensure projects are appropriately structured and governed in accordance with organizational standards.
• Partner with the Central Technology Management Office (TMO), Finance, and Infrastructure teams to align investments with enterprise priorities.

Portfolio & Financial Management

• Manage an annual enterprise CAPEX portfolio of AED 150–200M.
• Plan, manage, and monitor an OPEX budget of approximately AED 300M.
• Ensure investments are financially aligned and tracked against established metrics.
• Prioritize portfolio investments for optimal resource allocation and business impact.

Delivery & Accountability

• Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Monitor portfolio performance against organizational standards and timelines.

Leadership & Vendor Management

• Lead 10 direct reports, primarily external vendor resources.
• Oversee vendor performance and team execution.
