Role Overview

Videographer / Photographer at Dentsu, based in Riyadh, reporting to the Digital Republic brand.

Role Purpose

Bring brand stories to life through video production and storytelling, keeping the brand fresh and relevant to internal and external audiences. Plan, film and edit video content according to client briefs.

Key Responsibilities

Concept & Creative Development

• Collaborate with stakeholders to concept and develop video campaigns that align with business objectives and activate audiences.
• Assist with script development.
• Concept and storyboard video content.

Production & Technical Execution

• Direct, shoot and edit using in-house equipment.
• Capture new footage and apply effects.
• Assemble and edit materials including graphics, photography, dialogue, existing footage and sound effects.
• Direct other camera operators on set.
• Edit film footage.

Vendor & Resource Management

• Identify and manage internal partners, freelancers and vendors needed to complete audio and video projects in a timely and seamless manner.
• Produce briefs so that internal agencies, freelancers and vendors adhere to content objectives.
• Ensure that necessary filming equipment is available for use.

Performance & Learning

• Produce regular reporting on the success of content, areas for improvement and key recommendations.
• Keep abreast of new digital formats, market and cultural trends and best practices in content development.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and tools that will make projects more marketable.
