Role Purpose

Supervise and inspect the construction of dry utility infrastructure to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved methods, and relevant authority standards. Coordinate between multiple utility systems and manage quality control throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Supervision & Inspection

• Supervise and inspect the construction of dry utility infrastructure including high and low voltage cables, street lighting, telecommunications networks, and intelligent traffic systems.
• Review and verify excavation, duct installation, backfilling, cable pulling, jointing, and termination works against project specifications and approved methods.
• Inspect trench preparation, bedding, and protection measures to ensure proper coordination between utilities and prevent infrastructure clashes.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and as-built documentation.
• Monitor contractor compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Witness inspection requests and verify testing procedures including continuity and insulation resistance checks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in dry utility network construction supervision and inspection.
• Strong knowledge of relevant authority standards and regulations including RTA, DEWA, Etisalat, Du, and DM.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in reviewing technical documentation and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate between multiple utility systems and manage quality control.
