Utilities Engineer (EOI)

Role Overview

Utilities Engineer at JASARA PMC, based in Saudi Arabia. This is an expression of interest position.

Role Purpose

Play a vital role in the planning, design, and management of utility projects. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure that utility systems are efficiently designed and successfully implemented across significant infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Project Design & Development

• Develop and manage utility project designs, including water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical reports.
• Review engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for compliance with industry standards.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure overall project success.

Site Management & Quality Assurance

• Monitor construction activities and perform site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Identify and resolve any technical issues that may arise during project execution.
• Promote safety and compliance with relevant regulations during project execution.

Documentation & Administration

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in utilities engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of utility systems, including water, wastewater, and drainage.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in utility engineering.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and hydraulic modeling tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
