TPE IV / Senior Civil Engineer

Wood PLC is recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer (TPE IV) to join the team in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose

Contribute to technical delivery of engineering excellence by executing assigned scopes of work in civil engineering discipline, with emphasis on documentation, monitoring, and applying academic knowledge to routine engineering assignments under close supervision of experienced technical professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Delivery

• Execute assigned scopes of work in specific civil engineering discipline.
• Assist in development of engineering deliverables including philosophies, reports, specifications, calculations, data sheets, and technical requisitions.
• Perform assigned engineering tasks, including contributing to minor phases of larger projects.
• Apply academic knowledge to job responsibilities under close supervision of experienced technical professionals.

Problem Solving & Collaboration

• Perform routine aspects of engineering assignments requiring knowledge of basic engineering standards using prescribed standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Collaborate with experienced technical professionals for non-routine aspects of engineering assignments.
• Solve problems of routine nature within clearly defined procedures with ready access to support and guidance.

Technical Analysis

• Comprehend and interpret applicable technical information.
• Prepare technical information and suggest design changes to ensure functional and cost-effective results.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Typically 10 or more years of experience.
