Therapeutic Area Partner - Neuroscience - Jeddah at Bristol Myers Squibb, located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a field-based role spending a minimum of 90% of time in the field with Health Care Professionals.

Role Purpose
The Therapeutic Area Partner will serve as the primary point of contact for Health Care Professionals, providing scientific exchange and promoting BMS Neuroscience products within their respective territory. The role prioritizes safe and appropriate use of BMS products while driving HCP engagement and working toward performance objectives and BMS values.
Key Responsibilities
Scientific & Product Expertise
- Promote BMS Neuroscience brands through appropriate delivery of scientific message to Health Care Professionals.
- Maintain a high level of disease expertise and product knowledge.
- Demonstrate deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise based on thorough understanding of disease area.
- Effectively prepare for presentation and discussion of information to Health Care Professionals and respond to questions while ensuring medical accuracy.
Territory & Market Planning
- Understand the treatment landscape including mapping of Health Care Professionals and prepare to address their information needs.
- Understand knowledge and care gaps in territory and implement educational programs to address Health Care Professional needs.
- Prepare and successfully implement a comprehensive territory plan as per agreed metrics and KPIs.
- Define and prioritize customer targets by conducting proper profiling and segmentation.
- Develop account business plans that meet market and customer business needs.
Account & Customer Management
- Ensure ultimate accountability for achieving results of mutually agreed business objectives by identifying and managing customers within distinct segments and executing tailored plans.
- Build and maintain strong business partnerships with key stakeholders in all accounts including KOLs, physicians and pharmacists, in order to position BMS as a strategic partner.
- Build strong working relationships with key external and internal stakeholders in order to fully understand Health Care Professionals' challenges and concerns in a complex access environment.
Access & Formulary
- Support formulary enlisting process by initiating, developing and implementing tactical plans for scaling up product penetration in coordination with access, medical and marketing teams.
- Ensure products' availability to all potential prescribers and accounts.
- Understand and develop Patient Journey per hospital to identify access barriers and facilitate formulary enlisting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Insights
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to identify and resolve customer needs appropriately and with high sense of urgency.
- Collect and provide meaningful medical insights back to the internal team to be actioned in support of strategy development.
- Support pre-launch and launch activities of new products as and when needed.
Compliance & Integrity
- Work to the highest levels of integrity and compliance, adhering to BMS Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics at all times.
- Ensure full compliance with laws and regulations.
- Deliver scientifically meaningful programs regarding diseases and ensure flawless execution of activities to support overarching plan.
Qualifications & Experience
- Saudi national with valid SCFHS license (required).
- Pharmacist with relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company including speciality care brands experience (recommended).
- Psychiatry experience (strongly preferred).
- Diversified experience in governmental and private healthcare systems.
- Proven experience working with Thought Leaders and experts in their field.
- Very good knowledge of customer segmentation and targeting process.
Skills & Competencies
- Capacity to acquire scientific information.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally and independently.
- Resources allocation expertise working with multiple customer segments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with internet and email.
- Excellent command of English Language.
