Role Purpose

Operate the switchboard to deliver courteous, efficient guest services by managing incoming calls, transferring them to appropriate extensions, and assisting guests with long distance dialing and inquiries about hotel facilities and local events.

Key Responsibilities

Switchboard Operations

• Operate the switchboard according to established standards.
• Transfer incoming calls promptly to the appropriate extension.
• Demonstrate fluency in the use of equipment.

Guest Communication & Assistance

• Provide courteous service to customers.
• Communicate clearly and courteously using an upbeat tone.
• Assist guests to make long distance calls by instructing them on appropriate procedures and/or placing calls for them.
• Respond to customers' questions regarding the hotel, in-house facilities and local events.
• Take and deliver accurate and complete messages.
