Technician II - Entertainment & Events

Role Overview

Technician II - Entertainment & Events at Six Flags Qiddiya City and Aquarabia. This position works closely with the Supervisor - Entertainment & Events to ensure seamless operation of all live entertainment and events within the park.

Role Purpose

Ensure the smooth operation of entertainment and events facilities by setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting various technical equipment and systems. Deliver exceptional guest experiences through reliable technical support for all live entertainment and events.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Support the Entertainment & Events department team, ensuring operational readiness and technical performance.
• Implement measures to mitigate technical downtime, expedite troubleshooting, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure team compliance with local laws, guidelines, and all park policies and procedures.
• Participate in and assist with meetings and production update sessions.
• Monitor team performance and allocate resources effectively.
• Participate in the development of entertainment and events to enhance guest experience.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio, lighting, and visual equipment for concerts, performances, and other events.
• Collaborate with the Entertainment & Events team to ensure all technical requirements are met for each event and performance.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on technical equipment to maintain optimal performance.
• Monitor and respond to technical issues or malfunctions during events, ensuring minimal disruption to guest experience.
• Assist in the installation and integration of new equipment and systems as needed.
• Maintain organized inventory of technical equipment and supplies.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure all equipment is operated in accordance with established guidelines.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or above.
• Minimum of 2 years' professional experience in the Middle East and/or international markets.
• Demonstrated expertise in theme parks, cruise lines, or fields of entertainment, theatre, show, or event production.
