TECHNICIAN

Role Overview

Technician at Napco National. This role is open to Saudi Nationals only.

Role Purpose

Deploy departmental objectives and corrective actions set by the Technical Manager to reach desired targets. Execute technical activities in processing quotations and sales orders while maintaining the Bill of Material and machine limitations files.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Order & Quotation Management

• Receive Sales Orders from Sales, select the proper Finished Good number, compare it against related Quotation to ensure the match, and pass the SO back to Sales upon confirmation.
• Receive Quotation Requests from Sales & Marketing for re-orders, validate Technical parameters, select the proper FG#, and relay it back to them.

Documentation & Records

• Update the Technical Back-log documenting all Technical transactions (In/Out timings).
• Update the "Blend File" on a monthly basis displaying the actual blends and their alternatives for each product, and relay it to the Technical Manager for further cost and Material consumption studies.
• Maintain the Bill of Material throughout the role execution.

Technical Specifications & Approval

• Prepare Technical Data Sheets displaying product characteristics based on QC testing reports and relay them to the Technical Manager for approval prior to dispatching to the concern.
• Prepare Product Specification Sheets and relay them to the Technical Manager for approval to ensure product requirements are clearly documented and communicated according to the latest customers' specs.

Coordination & Maintenance

• Regularly coordinate with Production and Maintenance over any changes in machinery specs in order to keep the "Machines' Limitation File" up-to-date.
