Role Purpose

To install, configure, test, commission, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems and associated security infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, reliability, and compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Commissioning

• Install, configure, test, and commission CCTV surveillance systems, including IP and analog cameras, DVRs, NVRs, VMS platforms, and associated equipment.
• Carry out cable laying, termination, testing, labeling, and documentation for CCTV and security system installations.

Maintenance and Performance

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimum system performance and reliability.
• Monitor system performance, verify image quality, and ensure full operational functionality of security surveillance systems.

Troubleshooting and Support

• Troubleshoot and rectify faults related to CCTV cameras, recording devices, network infrastructure, monitoring stations, and security systems.
• Support the integration and maintenance of access control, intrusion detection, and other ELV/security systems where required.

Coordination and Collaboration

• Coordinate with Security, IT, Operations, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and support system enhancements.

Documentation and Compliance

• Prepare maintenance reports, service records, and system documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, permit-to-work requirements, and oil & gas industry regulations while performing all assigned tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or ITI in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a CCTV Technician.
• Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CCTV and security systems.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, Power, or Infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Relevant certification in CCTV Systems, Security Systems, Networking, or ELV systems is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of IP and Analog CCTV surveillance systems.
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN networks, switches, routers, fiber optic systems, and structured cabling.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Excellent report preparation and documentation abilities.
• Strong knowledge of material control and inventory management processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
