Role Purpose
Lead the technical office function to ensure all technical submissions, designs, and documents comply with ADNOC standards and industry regulations. Supervise the technical team, coordinate across project functions, manage design changes, and deliver technical approvals and reporting to support seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise the technical office team, including engineers, draftsmen, and document controllers.
Technical Review & Compliance
- Review, verify, and approve all technical submissions including shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Ensure all technical documents and designs comply with ADNOC standards and Oil & Gas industry regulations.
- Support procurement in material selection, ensuring all materials comply with approved vendor lists (AVL) and ADNOC specifications.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and consultants for seamless technical execution.
- Liaise with ADNOC representatives, consultants, and clients for technical approvals and clarifications.
Change & Issue Management
- Monitor and manage design changes, variations, and technical issues to avoid project delays or cost overruns.
Document Control
- Ensure proper document control, version management, and timely submission of all technical documents.
Reporting
- Provide periodic technical progress reports to management and project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- B. Tech / MTech or equivalent in any discipline.
- Minimum 10β15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, EPC/EPCM, or major infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience working on ADNOC projects in the UAE is highly preferred or required.
- Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, specifications, HSE requirements, project procedures, and work practices.
- Previous experience with ADNOC Group companies such as ADNOC Onshore, ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Gas, ADNOC LNG, ADNOC Drilling, or related ADNOC entities is a strong advantage.
- Experience in EPC projects, preferably involving large-scale oil & gas facilities, offshore/onshore facilities, pipelines, terminals, or associated infrastructure.
- Familiarity with UAE statutory requirements, authority approvals, and local regulations relevant to Oil & Gas construction activities.
- Previous UAE/GCC project experience is mandatory or highly preferred, depending on the seniority of the position.

- Proven ability to work in a multicultural and high-pressure project environment.
- Strong coordination skills with Client, Consultant, Contractors, and Subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of construction planning, execution, quality control, HSE, and project schedules.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of English, written and oral.
