Role Purpose

To assist Senior Mechanics in ensuring all machines and equipment used on the golf course are properly maintained and kept in safe working condition.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Repair all equipment, machines, and petrol carts when breakdown occurs.
• Perform monthly servicing of all equipment and petrol carts, including oil and filter changes.
• Conduct back lapping and grinding of all reel blades and bed knives.
• Adjust cutting height of all mowing machines as needed.

Quality & Service Standards

• Apply awareness of the Dubai Golf Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Apply the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers.

IT Security & Compliance

• Read, understand, and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.
• Cooperate, coordinate, and share information with Internal and External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
• Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
• Report all Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, and incidents (actual or suspected) immediately to the IT Service Desk.

Organisational Contribution

• Perform other tasks as required.
• Participate in various extra activities contributing towards individual and organisational growth in line with the Club's strive for continuous improvement.
• Represent the department or a group in various committees, such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee, Sport Committee, or projects.
• Participate in training as a Fire Marshall or First Aider as requested.

Qualifications & Experience

• Reached the level of Mechanic I.
• One to two years of experience in a similar post in a reputed organisation.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of English.
• Teamwork.
