Role Overview

Technical Assistance: Reliability at KBR.

Role Purpose

Analyze product failures, assess reliability performance, and provide technical guidance to ensure products meet contractual and reliability requirements throughout design, proposal, and operational phases.

Key Responsibilities

Failure Analysis & Root Cause

• Analyze product failures to identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare detailed failure analysis and reliability reports.

Data Management & Compliance

• Maintain and update reliability control databases documenting product success and failure history.
• Review preliminary reports, waivers, deviations, and engineering change proposals to ensure compliance with contractual and reliability requirements.

Performance Assessment

• Apply statistical methods such as linear regression and standard deviation to assess compliance with reliability performance requirements.

Design & Proposals

• Participate in design reviews for new products and evaluate proposed design changes impacting product baseline data.
• Prepare reliability sections of technical proposals, including manpower estimates and schedules.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant technical diploma or degree.
• Minimum 2 years of practical skills and technical knowledge in supporting engineering processes.
• Relevant certifications based on the specific technical support role.
