Supply Clerk

Role Overview

Supply Clerk at Amentum, supporting Air Force operations.

Role Purpose

Manage the receipt, issue and distribution of supplies and equipment to support Air Force operations. Ensure that supply chain processes are efficient and compliant with regulations, the Performance Work Statement (PWS), and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Responsibilities

Supply Processing & Distribution

• Process supply requests, ensuring timely issue and delivery.
• Receive, inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Store supplies in designated locations following proper procedures.

Records & Systems Management

• Maintain records of supply transactions in logistics systems.

Supply Chain Optimization

• Identify and address supply chain bottlenecks or shortages.
• Assist in forecasting supply needs to meet operational demands.

Compliance & Regulation

• Support compliance with Air Force supply chain regulations and standards.

General Duties

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Four years' experience in a supply system or closely related function required.
• Knowledge of supply management principles and Air Force logistics systems.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Understand, speak, read and write English at an intermediate level.
• Proficient in personal computers and Windows Operating System.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including at minimum PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment up to 10k forklift.
• Maximo experience preferred.

Additional Information

• Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
• Must wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.
• Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting and pulling minimum of 50 lbs.
• Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
