Role Overview
Supervisor, Piping at Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company LLC (a member of the Juman Energy Group), based in the UAE. This role oversees piping installation, fabrication, erection, testing, and reinstatement activities on oil and gas projects.

Role Purpose
To supervise and coordinate all piping construction activities on site, ensuring efficient execution of installation, fabrication, testing, and reinstatement work within approved schedules, budgets, and quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Coordination
- Supervise and coordinate piping installation, fabrication, erection, testing, and reinstatement activities at the project site.
- Manage piping foremen, pipe fitters, welders, helpers, and subcontractor manpower to ensure efficient work execution.
- Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, planning, and other disciplines to resolve site-related issues and maintain smooth workflow.
Progress & Schedule Management
- Monitor progress of piping works and ensure completion within approved project schedules.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure piping installation is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, welding procedures, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures, client safety requirements, and permit-to-work systems.
- Verify correct materials, pipe spools, valves, fittings, supports, and consumables are available before starting work.
- Monitor welding activities and ensure compliance with approved WPS, PQR, and project welding requirements.
- Supervise piping fabrication, fit-up, welding, alignment, installation of supports, and mechanical completion activities.
- Ensure proper execution of piping pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, drying, and reinstatement activities.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety briefings to ensure safe working practices.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain an organized and safe working environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in piping construction activities.
- Strong knowledge of piping fabrication, erection, installation, and testing activities.
- Familiarity with ASME B31.3, API standards, welding procedures, and inspection requirements.

- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
