Role Overview

Subject Matter Expert (SME) at BlackStone eIT, supporting strategic advisory functions in the energy sector.

Role Purpose

Provide strategic advisory support on regulatory frameworks, sector reforms, and large-scale energy initiatives, leveraging deep expertise in policy development, regulatory environments, and cross-sector collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory

• Provide strategic advisory on energy sector policies, regulations, and reforms.
• Offer insights on the UAE energy regulatory landscape and market dynamics.

Policy & Regulatory Development

• Contribute to the development and review of national regulatory frameworks.
• Conduct international benchmarking and recommend best practices.

Project Support

• Support large-scale infrastructure and transformation projects within the energy sector.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including government entities and regulatory bodies.
• Demonstrate ability in cross-agency coordination and stakeholder management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 20+ years of experience in oil and gas, petroleum products, gas regulation, or energy sector strategy.
• Proven experience in policy formulation, regulatory frameworks, and sector reforms.
• Strong exposure to large-scale infrastructure or national-level projects.
• Demonstrated ability in cross-agency coordination and stakeholder management.
• Experience working with or advising government regulators or energy authorities (preferred).
• Background with entities such as DoE, ADNOC, ADNOC Distribution, DMT, or international regulatory bodies (preferred).
• Experience in international consulting firms or advisory roles (preferred).
