Store Manager

Role Overview

Store Manager at Majid Al Futtaim (MAF Retail), Carrefour Riyadh.

Role Purpose

Ensure seamless delivery of service within the assigned supermarket while driving operations to achieve maximum sales, maximum profitability, optimum stock management, increased customer satisfaction, and continued business growth. Oversee and implement action plans for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Performance

• Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis to measure and evaluate commercial performance and provide recommendations to increase profitability and sales turnover.
• Maximize sales and profitability by controlling costs within budgetary guidelines.
• Initiate and ensure application of comparative studies between departments that contribute to efficiency of commercial performance.

Operations & Implementation

• Ensure implementation of MAF Retail's supermarket plans in line with supermarket strategies and procedures in collaboration with the Head Office and Corporate Office.
• Review and analyze stock and sales reports and implement corrective action as necessary.
• Supervise the ongoing service and maintenance of the supermarket's assets.

Stock Management

• Coordinate regularly with Department Heads to ensure effective stock management, including stock value, out of stock situations, orders, and timely merchandise deliveries.

Safety & Standards

• Oversee the enhancement of hygiene standards and the supermarket's safety and security.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business administration.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience as a store manager in the supermarkets industry.
• Experience in retail is required.
• Must be located in Riyadh; candidates from outside the area must be willing to relocate to Riyadh.

• Strong people and negotiation skills.
• Capable to easily build relationships across all levels.
