Store Manager

Role Overview

Store Manager | MAF Retail | Hypermarket Kuwait. The Store Manager - Hypermarket is responsible for leading all store operations to achieve sales growth, profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Role Purpose

The role ensures effective stock management, compliance with company standards, people development, and the successful execution of commercial strategies while driving continuous business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Commercial Performance

• Lead and execute hypermarket operational and commercial strategies in alignment with company objectives.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational efficiency while maintaining cost control within approved budgets.
• Monitor commercial performance through data analysis and implement corrective actions to improve results.
• Ensure pricing, promotions, and merchandising standards are implemented according to company guidelines.

Operations & Inventory Management

• Oversee inventory management, stock availability, replenishment, and shrinkage reduction initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, store presentation, hygiene, safety, and security.

People Development & Management

• Develop, coach, and manage department managers and store teams to enhance performance and succession planning.

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of retail operations experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within hypermarkets or large-format retail.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in driving sales and profitability.
