Store Manager - Carrefour

Role Overview

Store Manager at Majid Al Futtaim's Carrefour Riyadh supermarket. The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery, driving operations to achieve maximum sales and profitability, optimizing stock management, increasing customer satisfaction, and supporting continued business growth.

Role Purpose

To lead all aspects of supermarket operations in alignment with MAF Retail strategies, deliver strong commercial performance through cost control and sales optimization, and oversee implementation of improvement action plans.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Commercial Performance

• Ensure implementation of MAF Retail's supermarket plans in line with supermarket strategies and procedures in collaboration with Head Office and Corporate Office.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis to measure and evaluate commercial performance and provide recommendations to increase profitability and sales turnover.
• Initiate and ensure application of comparative studies between departments that can contribute to the efficiency of commercial performance.

Operations & Financial Management

• Maximize sales and profitability by controlling costs within budgetary guidelines.
• Review and analyze stock and sales reports and implement corrective action as necessary.
• Coordinate regularly with Department Heads to ensure effective stock management, including stock value, out-of-stock items, orders, and timely merchandise deliveries.

Facilities & Safety

• Supervise the ongoing service and maintenance of the supermarket's assets.
• Oversee the enhancement of hygiene standards and the supermarket's safety and security.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
• 5+ years relevant experience as a Store Manager in the supermarkets industry.
• Experience in Retail is mandatory.
• Must be located in Riyadh; candidates from outside the area must be willing to relocate.
