Staff Product Designer at Delivery Hero, based in Dubai. Join the Quick Commerce team to lead design strategy and innovation across a global platform operating in around 65 countries.

Role Purpose
Lead the design strategy and full product development cycle for the Quick Commerce team, translating complex user and business needs into clear, user-centric design solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes. Build technology that scales non-food offerings, reaches new market segments, and drives revenue growth across a DMarts network spanning 500+ stores and 1M+ SKUs.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Vision
- Lead the design strategy to be in sync with the product strategy and vision by collaborating with cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders.
- Translate complex user and business needs into clear, user-centric design solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.
- Design core decision platforms that automate assortment, pricing, store operations, merchandising, and availability at scale across all global markets.
Design Delivery
- Drive the end-to-end product design process, from discovery and research to high-fidelity designs and implementation support.
- Deliver production-ready, high-quality web and mobile user experiences using Figma as your primary tool.
- Propose simple design solutions used by Partners Worldwide.
User Advocacy & Research
- Become the voice of the user by bringing their narrative to the forefront of any product discussion.
- Lead research initiatives and conduct usability testing sessions.
- Advocate for design proposals through clear narratives and data-driven insights.
Leadership & Culture
- Be responsible for promoting design solutions and best practices within your team and across the organization, inspiring creativity, and challenging established thinking.
- Lead the newly formed Global Qcommerce Hub squads.
- Mentor and support team members in a leadership capacity.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate effectively with peers, product managers, developers, and senior stakeholders to align on goals and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Work with Berlin-based domain teams and stakeholders across 70+ countries.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a Product Designer.
- Extensive experience with heavy data B2B products.
- Strong web and mobile portfolio showcasing a user-centric design approach and deep understanding of problem-solving.
- Demonstrated experience in leading research initiatives and design initiatives.
- Experience in a leadership and mentorship role is highly valued.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency with Figma, including distributed version control tools.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Operational expertise in prioritization and time management.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
