Role Overview

Design Engineer position at Group AMANA, focused on aviation refueling vehicles and fuel handling equipment design.

Role Purpose

Design and develop STAAR's aviation refueling vehicles, fuel handling equipment, and supporting components while ensuring designs are robust, manufacturable, cost-effective, and optimized for production.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Development

• Create robust, manufacturable designs using SolidWorks.
• Design aviation refueling vehicles and fuel handling equipment.
• Develop supporting components for refueling systems.

Engineering Documentation and Product Structure

• Maintain accurate engineering documentation.
• Manage drawings and part numbers effectively.
• Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure product structure accuracy.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Production Engineering to ensure design practicality.
• Partner with Purchasing to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.

Skills & Competencies

• SolidWorks proficiency.
• Engineering documentation management.
