Role Overview

Sr. Specialist, HSE at KBR.

Role Purpose

Implement health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure employee and department safety. Create incident reports and perform inspections to verify conformity across all HSE areas while interpreting regulatory standards and developing systems to capture and analyze HSE statistics.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Standards

• Implement health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines for the employee and department safety.
• Interact with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes and regulations.
• Keep informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards.

Inspections & Audits

• Create incident reports and perform inspections to ensure conformity in all areas of HSE.
• Determine requisite for and organize audits of company operated properties.

Systems & Analysis

• Assist in development and implementation of systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics.

Problem Solving & Improvement

• Solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices under general supervision.
• Use experience and problem solving skills to develop and improve processes.

Team Leadership

• Provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of an undergraduate degree.
• 5+ years of experience.
