Sr Project Manager

Role Overview

Senior Project Manager at Blue Yonder. The Senior Project Manager leads end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional projects to achieve strategic business outcomes.

Role Purpose

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, stakeholders and project teams, while ensuring high quality and on-time delivery. You will serve as the primary point of accountability for project performance, continuous improvement and client/stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Execution

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring and closure of multiple concurrent projects or a large-scale program.
• Define and manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans including work breakdown structure, milestones and dependencies.
• Maintain project documentation.

Team & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal and external vendors and partners, to execute project activities.
• Manage stakeholder relationships by setting expectations, providing regular status updates and facilitating decision-making.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers or project coordinators on the team.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues.
• Escalate where required and drive remediation.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure quality management and compliance with organizational processes and standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and apply lessons learned across projects.

Change & Adoption

• Lead change management and adoption efforts where projects impact operations or customers.

Financial Management

• Maintain financial controls by tracking budgets, forecasts and variance reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7 or more years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role managing complex projects.
• Proven experience delivering projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Supply Chain Retail domain knowledge.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with executive presence.
• Demonstrable experience using formal project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile and hybrid approaches.
• Proficient with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, MS Teams, Confluence or Smartsheet or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Arabic and English language proficiency.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMI-ACP or equivalent certification.
• Experience in logistics and supply chain, software delivery, IT infrastructure or professional services.
• Experience managing vendor and third-party relationships and commercial aspects of projects.
• Experience with portfolio-level reporting and benefits realization.
