Job description

Role Overview

Sr Account Executive - Agentic AI at Lucidya. This role is based in the Saudi Arabia and GCC region, serving enterprise and government customers across the Middle East.

Company Overview

Lucidya is an AI-native platform for customer experience (CX) intelligence that manages entire customer lifecycles autonomously, from initial engagement through retention and growth. The platform uses proprietary NLU capabilities developed entirely in-house and trained on millions of multilingual conversations, equipping marketing, support, CX, and research teams to deliver personalized experiences that drive measurable improvements in customer satisfaction, retention, and lifetime value.

Role Purpose

You will be the commercial front line for Lucidya's Agentic AI platform, selling autonomous AI agents that handle real customer interactions at scale, deflect tier-1 contact centre volume, and continuously learn from every conversation. This is a business transformation conversation, not a tooling conversation. You will work with CX leaders, COOs, and digital transformation heads at some of the region's largest organizations, navigating long, complex enterprise cycles, building airtight business cases, and owning the commercial outcome end to end.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Pipeline Ownership

  • Own enterprise and government ARR targets and drive meaningful, predictable revenue growth quarter over quarter.
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline, obsessing over deal progression and forecast accuracy, not just volume.
  • Map every account strategically: identify decision makers, influencers, blockers, budget owners, timing, and internal politics.

Agentic AI Sales Execution

  • Run full sales cycles end-to-end: discovery, business case, pilot scoping, executive alignment, negotiation, and close.
  • Lead value-based conversations with C-suite stakeholders, translating autonomous AI capabilities into hard business outcomes such as cost per contact reduction, deflection rate improvement, CSAT uplift, and headcount efficiency.
  • Sell the transformation story confidently: how AI Agents change the operating model of a contact centre, not just automate a workflow or a chat agent.
  • Handle the "will this replace my team?" objection head-on with a clean, credible answer based on your track record navigating this conversation.

Pilot Leadership

  • Scope pilots like a consultant, defining success metrics with the customer upfront and holding the line on them throughout.
  • Build business cases in real time, demonstrating tangible payback by modeling deflection rates, volume, cost per contact, and payback period.
  • Own the pilot outcome and maintain accountability until the customer sees measurable value, rather than handing off to Customer Success.

Market & Stakeholder Development

  • Develop and maintain executive relationships across target accounts, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Partner closely with Solution Consultants, Product, and Customer Support to ensure smooth handovers, technically credible demos, and successful customer onboarding.
  • Continuously sharpen your understanding of the Agentic AI landscape, competitive positioning, and CX technology trends.
  • Leverage and grow your network within Saudi and GCC organizations to accelerate pipeline development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 6–12 years of sales experience, with at least 2–5 years selling to CX and contact centre buyers.
  • Deep understanding of contact centre metrics: AHT, FCR, CSAT, deflection rate, cost-per-contact, agent utilisation, and shrinkage.
  • Background from a CCaaS, conversational AI, or CX software vendor such as Genesys, NICE, Zendesk, Freshworks, Kore.ai, Cognigy, Ada, Intercom, Talkdesk, Avaya, or Unifonic. Experience selling automation or bots specifically is a strong advantage.
  • Arabic-native with deep Saudi and GCC market fluency, including understanding of how to navigate procurement in Saudi banks, telcos, government entities, and familiarity with Nafath and PDPL compliance requirements.

Skills & Competencies

  • Consultative, ROI-led sales mindset; not transactional. You build complex enterprise deals over 6–9-month cycles involving business cases, pilots, integration conversations, and change-management narratives.
  • Track record selling solutions that result in human-resource efficiency, with demonstrated ability to manage political sensitivity around AI-driven headcount changes.
  • Skilled at buyer education and de-risking the pilot phase in emerging categories. Comfortable opening doors and building momentum without extensive established case studies.
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial excellence. Proficient at constructing live business cases with customers, independently modeling key metrics such as volume, deflection rate, cost-per-contact, and payback period using tools such as Excel.
  • Proactive and thoroughly prepared for every meeting. Anticipate objections and arrive with answers ready.
  • Highly collaborative internally with a problem-solving focus. You do not blame other departments for challenges.
  • Comfortable in fast-scaling environments where structure evolves. You thrive in complexity and get energy from navigating categories many buyers are still learning about.

Additional Information

This role requires deep engagement with Saudi and GCC market dynamics, including government and banking sector procurement processes. You must be prepared to navigate internal politics and compliance frameworks specific to the region.
