Role Overview

Speech Collection Evaluator (Arabic-Qatar_MSA) with CrowdGen by Appen, based in Qatar.

Role Purpose

Record native Modern Standard Arabic voice commands using a mobile app to support speech data collection and model training.

Key Responsibilities

Recording & Data Collection

• Record 500 scripted prompts using the Appen Mobile app on your smartphone.
• Complete recordings on your own schedule within a session lasting approximately 1–2 hours.

Qualifications & Experience

• Native Modern Standard Arabic speaker from Qatar.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Currently residing in Qatar.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA).

Additional Information

• Contract Type: Project-based Independent Contractor role.
• Device Requirement: Appen-compatible smartphone.
• CrowdGen account must be registered in Qatar.
• Payment is issued upon completion with at least 90% of recordings passing quality review.
• Payment is proportional if fewer than 500 prompts are assigned.
• Account setup instructions will be provided by email upon selection.
• Availability is limited due to demographic quotas.
