Role Overview

Specialist Engineer, Instrumentation TCS/Reliability at PetroRabigh.

Role Purpose

Provide technical leadership and engineering support across maintenance, projects, and improvement activities. Ensure compliance with international standards, optimize plant reliability and safety, and drive cost efficiency across assigned operations.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Oversee technical support management of all maintenance, projects, and improvement-related activities in assigned section or field.

Compliance Management

• Review and consolidate technical documentation to ensure compliance with international engineering standards.
• Evaluate the undertaking of regular audits of engineering support jobs.

Engineering Procedures

• Review and consolidate engineering procedures.
• Supervise implementation of procedures within plant equipment operation limits to prevent mis-operations and human errors in daily plant operations.

Cost and Safety Management

• Ensure assigned section's engineering tasks meet corporate safety and environmental policy and standards.
• Implement cost saving activities as per section's cost saving plan.

Plant Engineering Support

• Improve manufacturing facilities for enhanced safety and competitive plant performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• First degree in engineering or relevant science major.
• Minimum 15 years of technical experience in engineering in refinery or petrochemical plants.
• Demonstrated specialty and expertise with records in related field of work.
• Knowledge of process and operations, maintenance, and engineering practices in refinery or petrochemical plants.

Skills & Competencies

• Technical expert level knowledge to review and guide the team for Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Studies, SIL Assessment, and Validation.
