Role Overview
Specialist Demand Planning at Delivery Hero, focused on Talabat Mart. The role is based in the Middle East region, supporting the rapid expansion of Talabat Mart's grocery delivery service across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, and Iraq.

Role Purpose
Ensure optimal inventory management for Talabat Mart, the region's first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. Drive accurate demand forecasting, maintain replenishment parameters, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to prevent stockouts and overstock while supporting rapid regional expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Monitoring
- Monitor daily stock movement and analyze current inventory status to ensure correct stock levels at stores.
- Prevent out-of-stock (OOS) and overstock (OVS) situations through continuous analysis and parameter adjustment.
- Run daily reports of inventory adjustments and maintain accurate records of in-stock and inventory positions.
- Manage relevant inventory in coordination with Category Managers.
Replenishment Optimization
- Maintain replenishment model parameters and ensure accurate system input, including lead times, reorder points, economic order quantities, and supplier minimum order quantities.
- Prepare demand forecasts and initiate ordering to stores.
- Track receipt of orders and dispatch orders to suppliers with proper tracking.
- Liaise with suppliers to improve collaborative forecasting, planning, and replenishment.
Reporting & Analysis
- Deliver timely and accurate analysis and reporting of inventory and purchase forecasts.
- Provide stakeholders with clear visibility on demand planning metrics and inventory performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Demand Planning.
Skills & Competencies
- Detail-oriented, structured approach with strong prioritization skills.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Hands-on proficiency with multiple planning and analysis tools.
- Ability to interact with senior-level executives and manage expectations of multiple stakeholders.
- Robust interpersonal and intercultural skills.
- Ability to inspire and align multiple teams and stakeholders around a mission.
- Fluent English required; fluent Arabic highly advantageous.
