Role Purpose
Develop detailed cost estimates across planning, tendering, and execution phases. Analyze project requirements, scope, and risks to determine cost impacts. Provide financial analysis and recommendations that support project decision-making and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Cost Estimation & Analysis
- Develop detailed cost estimates during planning, tendering, and execution phases.
- Analyze project requirements, scope, and risks to determine cost impacts.
- Prepare budget forecasts, cost breakdown structures (CBS), and estimates at completion.
- Prepare cost comparisons and financial recommendations to support decision-making.
Cost Control & Monitoring
- Monitor cost variances and provide corrective action recommendations.
- Maintain and update cost databases and estimation standards.
Value Optimization
- Participate in value engineering and cost-optimization initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Overall 20+ years of experience in oil and gas industry.
- Minimum 5β8 years' experience in offshore projects with FEED or engineering experience on mega value projects (greater than $1 billion).
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Experience with ADNOC projects is an added advantage.
- Experience in mega offshore projects.
