Role Overview

Spa Therapist at InterContinental Bahrain, part of IHG Hotels and Resorts.

Role Purpose

Deliver professional spa treatments including massage, body and facial services tailored to individual guest needs while maintaining luxury service standards. Contribute to spa treatment and retail objectives, recommend appropriate treatments and products, and ensure every guest journey is seamless, relaxing and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

Treatment Delivery

• Deliver a range of professional massage, body and facial treatments tailored to individual guest needs and preferences.
• Maintain luxury service standards of InterContinental Bahrain in every treatment.
• Personalise and create memorable experiences for every guest.

Guest & Retail Service

• Recommend appropriate treatments and products to guests.
• Contribute to achieving spa treatment and retail objectives.
• Assist with reception and guest enquiries when required.

Spa Operations

• Support smooth daily operation of the spa.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness and presentation.
• Prepare treatment rooms and facilities.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain a positive team attitude and genuine care for guests.

Qualifications & Experience

• Recognised qualification in Beauty Therapy, Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional certification where applicable.
• Previous experience delivering spa treatments within a luxury hotel, resort or premium spa environment is highly regarded.
• Experience with recognised luxury skincare and spa product brands and treatment protocols is an advantage.
