Role Overview
Solutions Engineer at Cisco, based in Saudi Arabia, focused on Public Sector. You will work within the KSA Sales organization to design and deliver technology solutions that drive the Kingdom's digital vision and mega-projects.

Role Purpose
To shape the technology strategies of Public Sector clients by translating business needs into comprehensive, tailored solutions. Operating in a pre-sales capacity, you will position Cisco as a trusted advisor to Saudi Arabia's government and enterprise stakeholders through technical excellence and strategic partnership.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Design architectures that demonstrate Cisco's innovation across networking, security, cloud, and automation.
- Develop tailored, business-driven solutions aligned with customer objectives across Cisco's full portfolio.
- Translate complex business needs into technology outcomes.
Client Engagement & Delivery
- Partner closely with Account Managers to develop and present solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations to enterprise and public-sector clients.
- Lead proof-of-concepts demonstrating solution value.
- Engage directly with customers using consultative selling techniques.
Strategic Advisory
- Articulate the financial and strategic value of Cisco's portfolio.
- Understand and align solutions with customer business models to drive value realization and adoption.
- Identify and address customer financial pain points.
- Simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales, solution design, or systems engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep expertise in Cisco technologies or equivalent competitor solutions.
- Proven experience engaging with enterprise or public-sector clients.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, data center, and cloud domains.
- CCIE certification preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced knowledge in SD-WAN, ACI, DNA, SASE, AI, Cloud, Automation, and Digital Transformation.
- Experience with AI/ML, Cloud-Native applications, Kubernetes, and Docker preferred.
- Familiarity with MLOps, AIOps, and programming/scripting capabilities.
- Proven cross-architecture experience with Cisco technologies.
- Strong executive-level communication skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
