Role Purpose
The Soft Services Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for clients, tenants, and visitors. This position is responsible for overseeing daily soft services operations, leading site teams, maintaining service quality standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, and delivering excellent customer service. Through effective supervision, coordination, and continuous improvement, the role contributes to client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the successful achievement of facility management objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Supervise daily soft services operations, including cleaning, housekeeping, waste management, pest control coordination, landscaping, and janitorial services.
- Allocate daily tasks and provide training and guidance to maintain high service standards.
- Control and monitor cleaning materials, consumables, chemicals, and equipment to support efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, waste segregation, and cleanliness across all site facilities and storage areas.
- Support emergency cleaning activities, special events, VIP visits, and other site operational requirements.
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead and manage soft services staff, ensuring effective manpower deployment, attendance monitoring, and performance management.
Compliance & Safety
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE, equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
Quality Assurance & Monitoring
- Conduct routine inspections of washrooms, common areas, offices, and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with service standards.
- Monitor service delivery against SLAs, contractual requirements, and client expectations, implementing corrective actions when required.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with facility management teams, subcontractors, helpdesk functions, and clients to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Manage client requests, complaints, and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate operational records, inspection reports, attendance logs, and service documentation.
- Prepare regular reports and support audits, inspections, and client reporting requirements.
Strategic Support
- Assist the Facility Manager in achieving KPIs, service targets, and contractual obligations while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management or Hospitality (preferred).
- 3β5 years of experience in soft services within Facility Management.
- BICS certification.
- UAE Driving License.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of cleaning standards, chemicals, and equipment.
- Computer skills, including reporting, emails, and CMMS.
- Strong supervision, communication, and customer service skills.
