Role Overview

Ski Instructor at Majid Al Futtaim's Ski Academy, delivering private and group ski and snowboard lessons with a focus on customer service and safety.

Role Purpose

Conduct private and group ski or snowboard lessons for all skill levels, ensuring high standards of customer service, guest supervision, and safety throughout each lesson.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Lesson Delivery

• Deliver private and group ski and snowboard lessons for all skill levels, including guests with special needs.
• Maintain high customer service standards throughout all lessons.
• Provide full supervision of guests during lessons.
• Ensure high safety standards during all lessons.

Guest Support & Communication

• Handle guest inquiries professionally.
• Provide guidance on lessons, bookings, sales, and available services.

Equipment Management

• Ensure all rental equipment is checked before guest use.
• Verify equipment is properly fitted and safe before guest use.

Safety & Compliance

• Take responsibility for guests throughout lessons.
• Ensure safety and compliance with access control procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance and follow company grooming standards.
• Comply with all SOPs, HSE, and workplace policies.

Revenue & Business Development

• Support revenue growth through upselling lessons.
• Promote Ski Egypt services.
• Assist in achieving academy targets.

Training & Development

• Participate in instructor training programs.
• Support onboarding of new joiners.
• Assist in competitions and events.

Operational Flexibility

• Remain flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Assist other departments or perform additional duties when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructor with an international qualification.
• Minimum one season in a Ski Academy.
• Prior kids teaching experience.
• Advanced skiing or snowboarding skills with the ability to instruct at a professional level.
