Role Overview

Role Purpose

Oversee and manage engineering activities on a construction site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements while coordinating between design, construction teams, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Site Management & Coordination

• Monitor construction progress and adherence to project schedules.
• Coordinate daily site activities and liaise between design teams and construction contractors.
• Ensure site operations align with approved project plans and specifications.

Quality & Compliance

• Conduct site inspections and quality checks on all construction work.
• Verify compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Document all site activities and maintain comprehensive project records.

Safety & Risk Management

• Enforce and monitor site safety protocols and procedures.
• Identify and report potential hazards or risks on site.
• Ensure all personnel follow health and safety regulations.

Technical Support

• Provide technical guidance and resolve on-site engineering issues.
• Review drawings and specifications with construction teams.
• Support value engineering and design clarification requests.

Stakeholder Communication

• Report project status and site progress to project management and clients.
• Communicate changes, delays, or issues to relevant parties promptly.
