Role Overview
Site Engineer (Ports / Marine) with Egis Group, supporting EPC execution of marine and coastal construction projects across the UAE.

Role Purpose
To supervise and coordinate marine and coastal construction site activities, ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards, manage subcontractors and resources, and maintain productivity and quality throughout EPC project execution across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision and Operations
- Supervise daily marine construction activities and site workforce.
- Monitor productivity, progress, and resource utilization against project schedules.
- Coordinate construction activities with subcontractors, suppliers, survey teams, and marine plant operations.
- Manage multiple work fronts in a fast-paced project environment.
Quality and Compliance
- Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality requirements and ITPs.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company procedures, and client requirements.
Planning and Documentation
- Prepare progress reports, daily site records, and work completion documentation.
- Coordinate material requirements and verify availability for planned activities.
- Support project planning, commissioning, testing, and handover activities.
Issue Resolution
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues affecting project execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of site engineering experience within marine construction, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
- Previous UAE project experience is important.
- Experience working with marine equipment, subcontractors, and site-based project delivery teams.
- Familiarity with international construction standards and HSE requirements.
- Previous experience working on Abu Dhabi Ports projects (AD Ports Group), including port infrastructure, marine terminals, quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, dredging, and waterfront developments, is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- UAE/GCC marine construction experience.
- Experience working with EPC contractors on large-scale marine infrastructure projects.
Additional Information
- Valid UAE driving license preferred.
