Role Overview

BlackStone eIT is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer and Administrator to join the team. The role is based at BlackStone eIT and encompasses both development and administration of SharePoint environments to optimize organizational collaboration and information management.

Role Purpose

Support the organization by developing, customizing, and administering SharePoint environments, ensuring data security, compliance, and effective end-user adoption across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Customization

  • Develop and customize SharePoint sites, web parts, and applications according to business needs.
  • Maintain and optimize workflows, libraries, lists, and site collections.

Administration & Configuration

  • Administer SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments, including user permissions and configuration.
  • Keep current with latest SharePoint technologies, updates, and best practices.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance.

Support & Troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues promptly.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximize effective use of SharePoint.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server environments.
  • Microsoft SharePoint certifications are highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Experience in using SharePoint Designer, PowerShell scripting, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST API.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
