Wynn Al Marjan Island is an opulent beachside resort destination scheduled to open in the United Arab Emirates in 2027. Located less than 50 miles from Dubai International Airport, the integrated resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five-star spa. The resort is currently under construction on a picturesque island that curves into the Arabian Gulf.

Role Purpose

Lead the fabrication and welding operations of the Logistics Centre team, overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of metal structures and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Leadership

• Supervise and guide fabrication and welding teams in daily operations.
• Mentor junior fabricators and welders.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training or upskilling.
• Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Technical Review & Approval

• Review and approve technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
• Ensure all welding and fabrication work meets structural, aesthetic, and safety standards.

Fabrication & Welding

• Operate advanced welding equipment (MIG, TIG, SMAW, FCAW) and fabrication tools.
• Lead the assembly and welding of complex metal structures such as frames, racks, and crates.
• Perform joint preparation, finishing, and inspections for quality assurance.

Maintenance & Repairs

• Oversee inspection and repair of metal fixtures, containers, and logistics equipment.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for all fabrication tools and machinery.
• Maintain documentation of welding certifications and inspection reports.

Operational Support

• Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to develop custom metal solutions for storage and transport.
• Support load-ins, load-outs, and refurbishment projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication workspace.

Compliance & Safety

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure team adherence to PPE and hazard controls.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and Wynn safety standards.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings regularly.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Welding Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in industrial welding and fabrication.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Certification in welding (AWS, ASME, or equivalent) required.
