Role Overview

Senior Waiter at Apparel Group. This is a dining service role focused on maintaining exceptional standards of service and hygiene in the dining hall.

Role Purpose

Maintain the highest standards of service and hygiene while supporting the Captain Waiter and ensuring a seamless, enjoyable dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

Dining Area Preparation & Maintenance

• Assist in morning restaurant cleaning to ensure a fresh and welcoming environment.
• Support the Captain Waiter in setting up the restaurant, including mise en place preparation.
• Clear tables after meals and ensure a clean and tidy dining area.

Service Utensil & Workspace Hygiene

• Clean and sanitize all service utensils before each service, maintaining a high level of hygiene.
• Transport dirty dishes and glasses to the dishwashing area, maintaining a clean workspace.

Guest Service & Support

• Transport food from the kitchen to the dining hall, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Assist in placing food plates on clients' tables, providing a warm and friendly service.
• Change ashtrays and refill water glasses during service, anticipating guests' needs.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with the Captain Waiter, following their instructions and guidance.
• Maintain a professional and clean appearance, adhering to company standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Valid health certificate or willingness to obtain one.
