Role Purpose

Develop, formalize, and execute leasing strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income while managing the financial, operational, and relationship dimensions of retail leasing across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Market Development

• Develop, formalize and execute a leasing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct market research to understand local market conditions and competition.
• Identify and target prospective tenants matching portfolio requirements.

Financial Management

• Manage all financial aspects of leasing operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Track performance against targets and maintain deep understanding of business P&L statements.
• Negotiate competitive rental rates to drive rent rate growth over time.

Lease Negotiation & Documentation

• Negotiate lease agreements with prospective tenants.
• Review and approve lease documents.
• Negotiate rental rates and lease terms to optimize deal outcomes.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

• Manage tenant relationships throughout the lease lifecycle.
• Maintain strong working relationships with major groups within the UAE, including Al Shaya, Landmark, Chalhoub, and Al Tayer.
• Engage with key international groups and brands to introduce Al Dar projects.
• Secure value-addition brands within the portfolio.

Team Leadership

• Manage the leasing team.
• Set performance targets and monitor team performance.
• Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
