Role Overview

Senior Steward - Kitchen Stewards at Wynn Al Marjan Island, located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, approximately 50 miles from Dubai International Airport. The resort is set to open in 2027.

Company Overview

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, water features, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

Role Purpose

Supervise and manage daily stewarding operations to ensure all kitchen equipment, crockery, glassware, and pots are cleaned, sanitized, and stored to the highest standards. Lead and support the Kitchen Stewards team while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and hygiene requirements across all kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Supervision

• Supervise stewarding operations to ensure crockery, pots, glassware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and stored correctly.
• Monitor and support stewards in their daily duties while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Support the Stewarding Supervisor, assume leadership responsibilities when required, and ensure smooth shift operations.

Facility & Hygiene Standards

• Ensure all kitchen areas, including floors, ceilings, ovens, and workstations, are kept clean and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Oversee the proper use, handling, storage, and control of cleaning chemicals and stewarding supplies.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures in line with hygiene, environmental, and company requirements.

Team Leadership & Development

• Conduct daily briefings, provide on-the-job coaching, and correct operational deviations to maintain service excellence.
• Foster positive teamwork and communication while adhering to company policies, grooming standards, and the Code of Conduct.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of stewarding experience in a 5-star hotel or integrated resort.
• At least 1 year of experience in a team leader role.
• Strong knowledge of stewarding operations, cleaning chemicals, health and safety, and hygiene standards.

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit with ability to handle heavy lifting and cleaning of large equipment and high areas.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
