Senior Solution Architect - Demand/Supply/ Merchandise Planning/Retail

Role Overview

Senior Solution Architect – Demand/Supply/Merchandise Planning/Retail at Blue Yonder. Acts as a member of on-site or remote project teams delivering supply chain transformation solutions.

Role Purpose

Design and implement Blue Yonder solutions on medium to large supply chain transformation programs, leveraging in-depth knowledge of customer business and processes to support strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Blue Yonder products, owning solution design from inception to delivery.
• Work with customer business and IT teams during all project phases.
• Provide leadership to functional teams during the implementation cycle.

Stakeholder & Customer Management

• Serve as functional and industry expert, participating in key meetings between Project Manager, customer contacts, and customer users.
• Work closely with the pre-sales team to assess project workload and recommend appropriate roles.
• Work closely with Product Management Department regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements.

Mentorship & Development

• Provide mentorship to junior associates within the Blue Yonder organization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 8 years of industry experience in Supply Chain or Retail sectors, including Softline, Grocery, Wholesale, FMCG, or CPG.
• Hands-on experience using, implementing, or supporting modern Supply Chain applications: BlueYonder, i2, Manugistics, SAP APO, Kinaxis, Infor, Logility, o9, Quintiq, or similar planning solutions.
• Experience in supply chain software implementation (desirable).

Skills & Competencies

• Great understanding of overall planning and retail processes: demand management, supply chain optimization, replenishment and fulfillment, category management, and assortment optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Business level fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Agile knowledge (desirable).
• Fluency in additional European languages: German or French (desirable).
• Machine Learning and Data Science concept familiarity (desirable).
• Python and SQL elementary skills (desirable).
