Role Purpose
Manage project costs, contracts, commercial activities, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Budgeting
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), budgets, and tender documents.
Financial Monitoring & Control
- Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial performance against approved budgets.
- Verify contractor and subcontractor invoices, quantities, and payment applications.
Contract & Commercial Management
- Manage and review construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, claims, and variations.
- Identify commercial and cost risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Cost Analysis & Value Engineering
- Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and provide advice on the financial impact of design changes.
Site Oversight
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress, quantities, and costs.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, support, and mentor Quantity Surveyors while working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Design Teams.
