Role Purpose
Lead transformational AI implementation projects that help some of the world's largest industrial organisations modernise the way they operate. From contract signing through deployment and value realisation, you will partner with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects that create lasting business impact and turn complex industrial data into meaningful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Leadership
- Lead end-to-end project delivery from kickoff through deployment, adoption, and value realisation.
- Own project scope, schedule, budget, quality, customer outcomes, and commercial performance.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, lead steering committees, and provide clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Product teams, and Customer Success to deliver high-quality solutions.
Value Realisation & Outcomes
- Translate customer objectives into measurable success metrics and facilitate Value Realisation Workshops to demonstrate business impact.
- Support customer adoption through change management, enablement, and training while recognising opportunities to expand customer value.
Financial Management
- Manage project financials, including forecasting, revenue recognition, profitability, cost management, and reporting.
Risk & Governance
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and scope changes while ensuring appropriate governance and transparency.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery practices by applying Cognite's PMO methodologies, playbooks, and lessons learned.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience delivering complex software, SaaS, cloud, or enterprise technology implementation projects.
- Experience managing enterprise or industrial digital transformation programmes involving multiple stakeholders and technical workstreams.
- Experience within one or more industrial sectors, including Energy, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, Power & Renewables, or Life Sciences.
- Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and project governance frameworks such as Scrum, PMP, or PRINCE2.
Skills & Competencies
- Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, data architecture, and enterprise systems, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams and informed decision-making.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including forecasting, revenue recognition, margin management, and project profitability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently across technical teams, customers, and executive stakeholders.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification.
- Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Industrial IoT, SCADA, MES, or Operational Technology (OT) environments.
- AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or Analytics implementation projects.
Additional Information
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
