Senior Project Manager

Role Overview

Senior Project Manager at WSP in the Middle East, leading the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects across the Integrated Design & Delivery (IDD) business.

Role Purpose

Drive project performance through all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and design management through to delivery and client handover, ensuring excellence in quality, commercial performance, stakeholder management, and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of major aviation, infrastructure, and mixed-use development projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Lead project reporting, resource planning, and financial management activities.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Manage multidisciplinary design and delivery teams across engineering, architecture, planning, and specialist disciplines.
• Act as the primary client interface, maintaining strong relationships with clients, authorities, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholder engagement to facilitate successful project outcomes.
• Mentor and develop project managers and technical teams within the business.

Governance & Controls

• Drive project governance, programme controls, risk management, and commercial performance.

Business Development

• Support business development activities, strategic pursuits, and client engagement initiatives.
• Champion WSP's culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in project and programme management.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale aviation, airport, transportation, infrastructure, and mega-development projects.
• Extensive Middle East experience is highly desirable.
